Create the Patch

Rename xtures in the patch

To give your xtures a more clear name, select 1 or multiple xtures and press RENAME. Type a new name for the xture and

click OK or press <ENTER.>. If you’ve renamed multiple xtures, Emulation will automatically add 01, 02, 03 etc. to the name

you’ve entered.

Address xtures in the patch

Emulation automatically sets the DMX address when adding xtures to the patch, by nding the rst available DMX channel in

your conguration. However, if you want to change the address, select 1 or multiple xtures and click ADDRESS.

Enter the new address and click OK. If you had multiple xtures selected, Emulation will set the entered address for the rst

selected xture and will automatically have the next selected xtures follow the previous ones.

For example, if you select 4 8-channel dimmers in the patch, click ADDRESS and enter “101”. This will result in addresses 101,

109, 117 and 125 for the selected dimmers.
